TONNETTE STANFORD

Tonnette has studied filmmaking at AFTRS in Sydney, completing a Graduate Diploma in Directing in 2009. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Film & TV at VCA, Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at UTS, Sydney.

Her films have won numerous awards and have screened at over 150 festivals internationally & nationally, including Oscar recognised festivals. Her films, The Vicious & the Delicious and Frontbum Dancin’ are distributed by Frameline across North America and have been released on DVD in the US, Germany, Austria and Switzerland through Salzgeber & Co. Home Entertainment. Her feature documentary, Holding Hands is distributed by CFMDC Distribution in Canada and Slut – The Musical is distributed by Ouat Media Inc. Canada. Slut – The Musical has recently been sold to Canal + France and Canal + Spain.

Tonnette is currently developing a web-series and an ‘80s musical feature film.
